20 ways to adapt the read aloud

In my travels today, I was presenting on literacy and talked a lot about the read aloud. When I got home, I found this great post from Linda Holliman at Stuff So Good You’ll Do the Teacher Dance. She reminds us just how important this structure is for learners who struggle. And as I shared with teachers today, if you have a significant disability and cannot access books or technology on your own, the read aloud becomes one of the only ways you can enjoy literature or text of any kind.
