If you are looking for ways to increase classroom engagement, you might check out Troy’s comments and his reasons for the switch. We think it’s a great change for those wanting to create a more dynamic learning environment. It can also inspire students to participate who may be reluctant to do so. Since Edmodo has the same look as Facebook, some students think of it as a social activity instead of only as a learning activity. Further, it may even the playing field for students who do not like to contribute verbally in class discussions.
