TODD’S TECH TUESDAY: Differentiating with Twurdy

You most likely will never find a classroom full of students at the same reading level. Chelsea, the technology coordinator behind Mrs. Hooper’s Tech Learning, found a helpful site to differentiate the level of difficulty of internet resources. Simply go to Twurdy.com and type in your search term. You will be given a long list of websites, shown in different colors that indicate the level of difficulty as well as a readability level rating. You can tell your students what color range to look for to match their reading level, giving them just enough of a challenge to encourage them to research more.
