I have received about a dozen emails asking when we are going to feature Edmodo on Todd’s Tech Tuesday. The wait is over. Not only are we spotlighting a social media tool that teachers can actually use in the classroom but we are introducing it via the talented folks at Teacher Tech Blog. This way you can learn about Edmodo while checking out a great blog that many of you will bookmark at first sight.
There are so many great reasons to use Edmodo but this type of dynamic communication is sure to help students with learning challenges who will profit from the many resources that can be shared, exchanged, and used beyond the walls of the classroom. Students who are not well connected socially may also benefit from classroom uses of Edmodo. Some learners don’t feel comfortable speaking or sharing face to face with peers but will do so via the web.
