ReadTheWords.com provides free support to students with reading difficulties. Voices are clear and graphics are impressive (better than many other programs). You could use this tech tool to upload a learner’s homework and transfer it to her iPod. Or use it as a tool in writing workshop; the novelty of hearing work read on screen will inspire some students to compose longer phrases, sentences, or paragraphs.
