An incredible expedition

What a resource! Do you have students who are fascinated by the Titanic? Are you a science teacher looking for a fun end-of-year way to engage learners? Math teachers, do you want an interesting way to teach number sense, distance, or volume?

If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, get to the Expedition Titanic site now. It is outstanding!

On this interactive site, users dive down 12,500 feet to a 3D replica of Titanic. You are led though a cinematic video over Titanic’s bow, arriving at an overhead map of the wreck site. You can then explore various “hotspots” and learn more about the ship and the sinking.

I know so many with autism with Titanic as a special interest area so I am passing this on to those students immediately.
