Well, it is Todd’s Tech Tuesday, but Todd is watching the election returns instead of sharing his tech tips!
We decided that others may also be more interested in elections than in technology tonight so we are shifting gears and sharing some websites to help teachers talk about democracy, elections, and the branches of government. We really like the Democracy Project. It is interactive and has a something for every learner– a voting booth, a President-for-a-day experience, and the ability to make political stickers. This site would work well as a station or center in an elementary classroom. For older students, check out the Center on Congress at Indiana University. This site would also work well at a station or center or as a whole-class web hunt.
Enjoy the sites and the election coverage too.
