FUN FRIDAY: Calling the Jonas Brothers!?

Watching this video from the “Teacher Tipster” just cracked me up– I watched three times and was still laughing.

If you are seeking ideas for making the classroom more joyful, interesting, and motivating- you will love this tip!

The other reason I am featuring this idea is to draw attention to students who are inspired by what I call “indirect communication”. Some learners with autism I know respond very positively to messages that are intended FOR them but that are not directed AT them. In the past I have used hand puppets or other kinds of dramatic play to connect with these students and send them messages. These fake phone calls can potentially delight these learners in the same way and for the same reason.

P.S. Don’t leave the “Tip Channel” without checking out other videos– so many clever tricks.
