Pictionary in the classroom

If you have been reading this blog for awhile, you know how much I love games in the classroom. They so often are irresistable to disengaged learners and they can help many students show what they know in a different way.

Today’s feature, from the blog Inspiring Teaching Now, is a Pictionary-type game used to practice verbal and written communication skills. Your doodlers will love to be invited to draw and sketch as part of an actual lesson.

This is another activity I would teach to parents during an open house or literacy night.
