Today’s post is a bit different in that the blog itself is the recommended “lesson” or teaching tool! Extreme Biology is an amazing blog maintained by Ms. Baker and her high school biology students. The students blog about many different biology-related topics and are responsible for many different aspects of blog creation and development.
Imagine the possibilities of differentiating in the blogging classroom. Those learning English can polish reading and writing skills, students with disabilities can use the blog to further their understanding of key concepts, and learners who need an alternative to a daily lesson can work on the blog by editing, writing, illustrating, or answering reader questions.
