TODD’S TECH TUESDAY: Do your photos talk?

Check out Fotobabble today and begin imagining the classroom possibilities. This simple tool lets you add your voice to any photograph. It is certainly a great way to send messages to your family members but consider the many classroom uses as well. How about having learners submit a photo they take in school and create an audio poem to play along with it? Or let students snap a picture that represents a time/place in history and narrate the photo by impersonating a notable figure from the time period. A Fotobabble lesson would be a fun way to allow students to practice new communication skills (e.g., speaking clearly or slowly) or use new vocabulary as well. How would you use it?
